How do I restore my Schlage Ease™ S2 lock to factory default settings?

If the lock was set up through the locks keypad:

1. Open the door and leave the door ajar
2. Open battery case and find the reset button (located under the second battery on your S1, and under the first battery on your S2).
3. Use a pointed item such as a paper clip or thumbtack to press and hold the reset button.
4. Press the reset button under the battery cover for approximately 10 seconds until you hear a beep and the internal mechanism's moving. 
5. Re-program the lock through the keypad with the following steps. Default master PIN is 12345678.

If the lock was set up through the Schlage Abode App

1. While standing within Bluetooth range of the lock set open the Schlage Abode app on your phone

2. Tap devices at the bottom of the screen

3. Tap the settings icon on the tile for your lock

4. Tap your lock name

5. Tap “Delete the device”

6. Remove the battery cover from the lock and press the reset button for approximately 10 seconds until you hear a beep and the internal mechanism's moving

7. In the Schlage Abode app tap devices

8. Tap the + button at the top right of the screen

9. Tap smart lock option

10. Follow the on screen prompts
