Your Freestyle Trilock will automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network at home through the wi-fi bridge.
If you are having difficulties connecting remotely and your phone is showing no Wi-Fi signal next to your lock icon,
Go to the Wi-Fi Bridge Settings (Settings > WiFi Bridge settings) to see if all connections are ok. The diagram will show a red line to indicate a connection issue. A properly connected lock will appear like this:
The first bar represents the status between your Lock and the Wi-Fi Bridge. Check and ensure your Wi-Fi bridge is within range of your lockset and home Wi-Fi network.
The second bar represents the status of your Wi-Fi bridge and home Wi-Fi network connection.
- Check if your home Wi-Fi is ok and is not experiencing any issues
- Check if other devices can connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and access the internet. When internet service is down, the second line will be red.
The last bar represents the status of the associated cloud services of Allegion.
